About Jackson Eagles
Jackson Eagles is 14 years old. He surfs, plays rugby, runs track — and when injury took all of that away, he picked up a camera and pointed it at the ocean.
For close to a year, a run of injuries kept Jackson out of the sport he loves. No surf. No rugby. No athletics. For a kid whose whole life revolves around being active and outdoors, that’s a rough place to be.
So he found another way to stay connected to the places he loves. Armed with a drone and a camera, Jackson started going out at dawn — to the headlands, the beaches, the marinas — and capturing what he saw. The light before sunrise. The geometry of a rock pool from 50 metres up. The way a wave breaks at a point break, frozen in a single frame.
It turned out he was good at it.
Eagles Views is the result — a photography store built and run by Jackson, selling prints of images he’s taken himself across the NSW coastline and beyond. Every single photo is his own work. No stock images, no shortcuts.
Jackson still surfs every chance he gets, still plays rugby, still has his sights set on professional sport. The store fits around training — it’s what he does when his mates are picking up shifts at restaurants and shops. More flexible, more his own.
If you buy a print, you’re not just getting a piece of the Australian coast. You’re supporting a 14-year-old who turned a tough year into something real.
